College Essays Require a Balance of Deadlines, Word Count and Styling

College essays are a necessity for all the college students. They can’t pass their test and other exams in any way if they can not write their essays effectively. It’s a must that every student writes his college essays according to the rules set by his college whether they are about the writing style, word count, referencing and any other important requirement. Even the most daunting part of essay writing is its deadlines. Deadlines are something that hand above all of the students heads like a sharp shining sword 24/7. So it’s a necessity that every student puts his best efforts in order to complete his assignment in time. If he doesn’t, he can be failed in the assessment or is more likely to get a penalty.

Normally people think that the essay writing actually starts when they start writing the introduction or the first chapters of the college essays, but in reality that actual task starts when you make up your mind to write your essays by keeping all the terms and conditions in mind and by gathering all the information that will be required in order to compete the paper effectively. For the reason that you can not start off a college essay effectively if you don’t make up your mind way before you start your writing process, you will not know exactly what you are going to write in your papers. But if you will have all the information and ideas in your mind the college essays writing process will become easier. Now in order to make sure that the ideas and thoughts that you gather to write your college essays don’t get lost, you have to make an outline. The college essays outline is a platform that will help you out in first jotting down all of your ideas and thoughts about your concerned topic in later on in turning them up into a successful college essays paper.

Then you may make a draft for writing your college essays that will lead you towards the surefire successful papers.

A draft is a piece of material that is made by jotting down all the important parts of the college essays that a students makes his mind to cover in his essays. A draft is just like the real essay, the only difference is that it is succinct and is rough piece of writing if compared to the real college essays. A draft contains topic, title, and introduction following by the thesis in the subsequent paragraphs, issues of the subject, its data, your arguments, the evidences, the resolutions and the conclusion. A successful draft has all the chapter names or headings that are in the relation with your topic along with roughly written material. This draft goes to your advisor for his approval or for his final word that whether you can write your college essays based on this draft or not. For the reason that your advisor knows what exactly it takes to write college essays he will be able to give you the final word that you can go ahead with the draft made or have to write a new one.

Thus, college essays are not about a single thing but they are about diverse elements that form up an essay when joined together.

Fitness Goals – The Power of Having Realistic Fitness Goals With Deadlines

Goal setting is a crucial part of any diet and exercise program. Not having a specific fitness goal in mind when beginning a new diet or exercise plan is like hopping in the car without first knowing where you want to go. When setting goals, there are two important ingredients that must be in your goals. They must be realistic and they must have a deadline.

First, your fitness goals must be realistic and achievable. For example, you would not want to have the goal of losing 100lbs in 2 weeks. It’s just not going to happen! As soon as those 2 weeks are up and you’ve only lost 1/2 a pound, you are quickly going to give up on your weight loss program.

Losing 100lbs is a fine goal to have, but space the goal out to 1-2 years.

Action Steps for the 100lb example in 2 years (modify the basic concept for your particular goals):

1. Get out a calendar and pen and determine the date 2 years from now. Write your 100lb goal there.

2. If you want to lose 100 lbs in 2 years, you’ll need to reach 50lbs in 1 year. Write your 50lb goal on your calendar 1 year from now.

3. If you need to lose 50lbs in 1 years, you’ll need to reach 25lbs in 6 months. Write your 25lb goal on your calendar 6 months from now.

4. If you need to lose 25lbs in 6 months, you’ll need to reach 12-13lbs in 3 months. Write your 12-13lb goal on your calendar 3 months from now.

5. If you need to lose 13lbs in 3 months, you’ll need to reach 4-5lbs in 1 month. Write your 4-5lb goal on your calendar 1 month from now.

6. That 4-5lbs a month is only 1-2lbs a week. Can you believe it?

Using a simple systematic approach to weight loss will empower you to lose 100 lbs in just 2 years at only 1-2 lbs a week.

Losing 100lbs in 2 weeks is unrealistic, yet losing 1-2lbs a week over the next 2 years will result in the same 100lb weight loss. That is realistic and I know you can do it!

Some people don’t have a problem with unrealistic fitness goals. Their problem is that they don’t have specific deadlines for the realistic goals that they already have. In our example above, we broke down out ultimate goal into yearly, monthly, and weekly mini goals. Having these milestones will ensure that we are on track to reaching our ultimate goal of 100lbs. If there is no deadline for your goals, then they are not likely to ever become a reality.

I hope you can see the power of having realistic fitness goals with deadlines. This can truly make or break your chances of achieving weight loss success.

Having recently lost 25lbs in just under 3 months, Phil Murray is excited to share what he has learned with others who hope to reach their fitness goals. Phil’s Free E-Course “The 5 Most Effective Weight Loss Motivation Strategies” is jam packed with tips and techniques that has contributed to his own weight loss success. Goals Are Dreams With Deadlines: How Goal Clarity Will Get You Where You Want

Recently, many of my students have told me they CANT set goals because everything is changing and they arent sure what tomorrow holds. Changing economies is exactly WHY we should set goals!

To start thinking about goals, reflect for a moment on this quote by Diane Scharf Hunt”Goals are dreams with deadlines.”

Who couldnt use a little dreaming today? And once we know our dreams, we need to capture them into specific, written and measurable goals. That is what goal clarity ishaving specific, written and measurable outcomes that we are working toward. And we can make this easier by following a 5-step process to make it efficient and successful.

The following is a goal clarity strengthening process to implement right nowreally, RIGHT now. Take out a piece of paper and pen and make 5 columns on the page for your own Goal Planner.

1. In the left column write at least 5 things you want to happen in the next 60 days. These are outcomes like Make one new sales appointment each work day. or Close $ ___ in business each week. These are your goal statements.

A caution: Review the outcomes for measurability and specificity to see whether you can identify whether it is accomplished or not. For example, if your goal is More time with my family, be specific about what that looks/feels like. Does it mean a certain amount of time each night or weekend? Certain activities completed together? I will eat dinner with my family 3 times each week, allows me to know whether I have achieved this or not.

2. Look at each statement and identify the actions needed to take to get there. Write 2-3 actions that will move you toward each outcome in the 2nd column.

3. Write a specific time/date when you will take that action in the 3rd column. Is it each day? Week? How often? A date is another checkpoint on the road to success.

4. Next, identify your reward for completing those actions or the goal. Think through the BENEFIT of completing the action that leads you to the goal or outcome. Will you sleep better? Will there be self-satisfaction? Will it be a treat like a special coffee or candy? Be prepared to reward yourself when you have completed the action/outcome. Write these in the 4th column.

5. And in the 5th column write the name of a stakeholder for this goal or outcome. A stakeholder is someone who will care about this outcome – it might be a manager, a spouse, a colleague, a friend. You may have different stakeholders for each goal.

Finished? Congratulations! Look at this paper – you have at least 5 goals and a plan of action for the next 60 days to get there!

Whats next? Take action! Share each goal with your stakeholder for that goal. Your stakeholders may be able to:
Clarify the outcome with you to make sure it is specific enough for you to know whether you reach it or not.
Identify other actions that can get you there quicker or easier.
Help you in some way to achieve the goal.
Celebrate your progress and ultimate success!
Add accountability.

After your stakeholder is ready to stand by your side, its all up to you. The 5 steps to goal clarity will allow you to progress where you want regardless of changing market conditions. It starts today with the action you take!

Choose PSD to HTML Companies That Meet Deadlines

A website is an online identity of a business owner. It needs to be professional, attractive and well-designed to catch the attention of visitors. Thus, it is important to have a good design, as well as have the design well coded to enable a website to run properly. When it comes to PSD to HTML conversion or PSD to XHTML conversion, most of the people dread to outsource the project. The reason being they are not sure whether the project will be delivered on time or not. A delay can cost them heavily. Therefore, it is important to choose PSD to HTML companies that meet deadlines.

A delay can mar the reputation of the company. Since most of the companies outsourcing their PSD to HTML conversion project are themselves web designing companies, the delay can affect their business gravely. This can also result in losing some customers. One of the main reasons why web designing companies outsource PSD to HTML conversion is to increase their productivity. And if this is not achieved, outsourcing the project is simply futile. This only will be a mere wastage of time and you also stand the risk of losing customers. All this because you hired a company that can’t meet deadlines.

To have a prim and proper business web design which functions well, it is necessary that all your web pages are well coded. The PSD designs should be converted into error free and fully functional HTML pages. It is important that all this is accomplished within a stipulated time period. It takes time to integrate these pages into a unified website. Therefore, you must ensure that the PSD to HTML company you hire understands your limitations on the deadlines.

There are many PSD to HTML and PSD to WordPress companies which guarantee a fast turnaround time.

These companies also fair well in the beginning. But there is usually more than what meets the eye. After you sign a contract with them, the trouble begins. Their services will become lackadaisical. Their turnaround time will increase. You need to be firm in your approach while dealing with such companies. Or else your deadline will get postponed.

If you want to avoid all these hassles, you need to select a PSD to CSS/HTML company carefully. Make sure that the company not only gets the assignment right, but also has the best turnaround times with every PSD to HTML project handled by them.

Xhtml.pixelcrayons.com converts your design files from various common image formats into best quality cross-browser compatible W3C validated XHTML/CSS markup. Check xhtml.pixelcrayons.com for our PSD to HTML and PSD to CSS services.

Beat the Collection Deadlines: Getting Your Parcels Shipped Quickly

The Royal Mail in the UK has recently extended its parcel collection times to 8pm in the evening to allow customers a wider window of opportunity when it comes to collecting parcels that have arrived for you whilst you have been in work. The change has been made to a number of popular collection hubs in response to many people complaining that larger parcels have not been delivered and is unable to pick the parcels up.

This often ends up with the parcel being held for around a week then returned to sender which can add considerable time to the delivery process. The new move has helped to make the Royal Mail more convenient and shows good initiative as many people now shop online and will require these collection services to be available to them.

There are many deadlines such as this that we need to be aware of when it comes to sending a parcel with the most well known ones being the deadline for sending parcels via special delivery and other services, these apply to all parcel delivery services whether this is the Royal Mail or any couriers that you may use. There are some services such as same day or next day deliveries that require you to place your order by.

Many same day and next day deliveries will need you to get your parcels in before midday or 15:00 at the latest in order for the delivery to go ahead according to your desired timeframe. There are some services that can accept parcels later in the day and still manage next day services but leaving it until last minute when it comes to parcel delivery can leave little room for manoeuvre and any slight delays could mean your parcel gets delayed and delivered late. When you factor in that some business deliveries need to arrive by a certain date and time you will want to ensure all deliveries go through smoothly and so making sure you get your parcels to the post office or courier depot is vital.

With couriers you have another option though as they are able to collect your parcel from you to save the time and effort you’d normally have to take when sending a parcel which often meant taking time off work or using up your lunch break waiting in line at the post office.

Couriers can come to your home or place of work to collect your parcel from you and get the ball rolling with your parcel delivery.

If you need to send your parcels quickly or need them to arrive by a certain date then there are plenty of options available to you, just don’t leave it too late as you may limit your options and cost you more money.

Whether you have letters or parcels make sure you choose an express mail delivery service that can handle your urgent delivery or worldwide delivery

Demands & Deadlines – The Sales Negotiator’s Two Best Friends

All too often when we are negotiating both in real life and in business, demands and deadlines show up. Since most of us have never been trained on how to deal with these issues, we tend to do the easiest thing: panic. May I suggest a different approach: ignore them.

Unless you are actively involved in a hostage negotiation, you probably won’t be handed a list of demands. Instead, they will show up in more subtle ways. Casual statements like “This is a must have” or “I really don’t have any flexibility on this issue” are the nice way of saying “this is a demand” in polite company. Instead of panicking, great each veiled demand as an old friend. The other side has just revealed a point that is important to them.

The actual demand does not matter that much, what really matters is the reason for the demand. If they say they they need the delivery by Friday, then forget the demand and focus on why they need the delivery by then. Who is waiting for the delivery? Why do they need it then? Every demand is a step in the right direction because you now have a better idea about what key points the eventual solution must address.

Same thing goes for deadlines. If the other side says “we’ve got to wrap this up by 10 pm or we’ll have to walk” then the question is why? What is their best alternative? What is so special about 10 pm? Why not continue tomorrow? Remember that most deadlines are garbage and the other side may be using them as part of a fairly poor attempt at moving the deal to a close. Ignore the deadline and move on. If they are interested in doing a deal, they’ll end up ignoring it also.

If you end up giving into one or more of their demands or meeting one of their deadlines, make sure that you get something for it.

Tit-for-tat. Make sure that the other side does not see you as being weak and giving in. Instead, keep the give and take balanced through the negotiations.

Deadlines – Make Sales Negotiators Give it All Away

Every sales negotiation has some sort of time limit associated with it. You might have an hour, a day, or even longer to conduct the negotiations, but there is some point in time at which you’ll run out of time to talk. This is when most sales negotiations fall apart.

The Problem With The EndStudies of negotiators has revealed a disturbing fact about all of us. During a normal negotiation we engage in a process in which we give a little bit and take a little bit. Pretty much what you would expect in any transaction. However, then the news arrives.

When we are informed or we become aware that the window to negotiate is coming to a close (perhaps someone important needs to leave for the airport), then for some weird reason one side or the other makes a mistake.

The Big MistakeWhen we become aware of an approaching deadline, all too often we start to make big concessions to the other side of the table that we wouldn’t normally make. What happens next is that they don’t make big concessions to us, instead they make smaller concessions which causes us to make more big concessions.

It turns out that this type of behavior is practiced by both experienced and inexperienced negotiators. The only real difference is that the inexperienced negotiators made bigger concessions than the experienced ones did.

Why Do We Behave This Way?In all honesty, this type of behavior really shouldn’t come as a surprise to any of us. It all boils down to one simple fact of life: humans have a tenancy to make very bad decisions when we are under pressure. Clearly, the last few minutes of a negotiation is the worst time for us to be making concessions.

What To Do About ItIf we can accept that we are poor decision makers when we are under pressure and if we don’t want to give away the farm at the end of a sales negotiation, then what’s a sales negotiator to do? In the end this is all about self-discipline.

You need to limit yourself to only making small concessions during the negotiation and you need to space them out during the negotiations instead of bunching them up at the end.

As the end of the negotiations draws near, before you make ANY concession keep asking yourself:
Why should I make this concession, and
Can this deadline be negotiated?

If you can keep these questions in mind as the negotiations wind down, then you’ll be all set to close better deals and close them quicker.

Meet Those Writing Deadlines – 5 Proven Techniques

Anytime you are given a writing assignment whether it’s for school, work, business, or even a power point presentation, be assured that your writing assignment will come with a deadline. Your greatest writing success will come when you apply these five proven techniques to your writing project. So what happens if you don’t have a plan? Here’s what happens when you don’t have some sort of realistic plan: you are guaranteed to get writer’s stress which may include a horrendous headache!

Five Tried and True Ways to Successfully Meet Those Writing Deadlines:

1. Plan ahead: It’s just like when you go on a trip. When you plan to go on a vacation, visit family, or even go on a business trip, you go with a destination in mind. You wouldn’t just hop in your car and head out not knowing which way is north, south, east, or west would you? You head in the direction of your goal.

2. Gather all your materials before you start: Getting organized before starting any project is very helpful. It gets your thinking processes in motion for the big picture. Clear out a specific area for working on your writing project by eliminating clutter and other items that have nothing to do with your writing assignment.

3. Always save, save, save, or backup your writing assignment: You’ve invested a lot of time and energy into your project and the last thing you need is something to go wrong and you lose your work. This is very important, and sometimes for some inexplicable reason something may go wrong; just don’t blame the bird, dog, cat, or even the kid.

4. Always multiply the amount of time you think it would take you by two point five: Strangely enough this is a proven formula that’s pretty accurate.

No, this is not a made up, top of the head formula. Test it out next time you work on any project, whether it’s painting, cleaning, gardening, or even running errands. You think it will take how much time?

5. Reset your deadline: Always reset your deadline privately and don’t share it with anybody. You will have better success if you reset your own deadline to finish early. The purpose is to have leeway at the end to review, review, and review your work before submitting it. If you find errors, which you will, you then have enough time to correct without stress.

Apply these five techniques and you can avoid that writer’s stress and possibly that horrendous headache that comes as a bonus for not having a plan. And really, thank goodness for deadlines, or else we’d never get that writing assignment done!
